the semantics of AttributeFilterScript

The documentation for the <AttributeFilterScript> element [1] is
contradictory. The description says one thing (remove if false) but
the example seems to be saying something else (remove if true). Which
is it?

The entity attribute is removed if the predicate evaluates to (true or false)?
