Idp initiated SLO with multiple session indexes

Sounds like a question either for the SAML spec list or the shibboleth users list.  It also doesn't make much sense to me:

An IdP, but multiple host names?  What does that mean?  Multuple IdPs?  What does SSO (let alone SSL) mean in this context?
