Hi,
I’m quite new to the SAML and shibboleth topic that’s why I would be very
happy about some help 😊
I’m planning to add to an existing web app (that already has an
authentication processes) a SAML IDP function that supports IDP
initiated/unsolicited SSO and sends a SAML assertion to an Service Provider
(https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/IdPUnsolicitedSSO).
I’ve found a site describing it theoretically:
http://saml.xml.org/wiki/idp-initiated-single-sign-on-post-binding
When I got it right I have ‘simply’ to create the SAML assertion and POST it
somehow to my Service Provider. Therefore, I checked the Java samples of the
git repo
(https://git.shibboleth.net/view/?p=java-identity-provider.git;a=summary)
but at the end I do not really have an idea where to start the
implementation. Does anyone can give me a hint, please?
Finally this SP is a SAML IDP itself I want to create another authentication
with.
Thanks,
Hank
