Facing issues with Opensaml-2.6.4

A couple of things.

Firstly the two OpenSAML projects are maintained in support of the Shibboleth stack, and that is unlikely to change until a consortium member asks us to do differently.

Is there a reason you cannot use Shibboleth?

This feels stunningly out of date. I am away from my desk so I cannot check, but I suspect that it has several security advisories against it...
