No, those were the eventual "formalized" documents that floated around in various forms over the years as the official "spec" for Shibboleth because SAML was half-baked (i.e. no request defined). That's pretty much the sum total of what got fed into SAML 2.0 from us. The real contribution was me, I spent hours and hours figuring out XML Schema, XML Signature/Encryption, identifying what SAML 1.0 screwed up, that kind of stuff.

The only other document with historical value is probably the orignal Architecture document Marlena started and that I worked on when I first joined. That's solely of historical value more than technical lineage. I should have a copy but I'm not finding it at the moment.
