It's a can't-win situation, so I don't really know what to do about it. There are a couple of settings I *would* argue for inlining, mainly the LDAP attributes to return, but most of the rest are by design trying to be shared across the two use cases and there just isn't any other clean way to do that.

Basically, if it's in attribute-resolver.xml *only*, I'd probably inline it. But that's not much.
