Custom data connector issue

Thanks a lot Scott and Rod for your replies trying to put me on the track ,
I'm trying now to use the scripted connector as advised and i found this
below example and when i run the logger works fine for me but how to return
the value of the attribute in the SAML response please? as it is not
returned now
