3.2 schedule / freeze

FWIW my vote would be to slip out 'freeze' to next week.  Scott and Brent
appear to have been working at 120% this past two weeks and it seems
pointless to burn yourself out for a notional date.

It also seems silly to drop function (except for the stuff which Brent
want's to drop - axing never released APis we have don’t use seems like a
good idea).  While spoil the ship for a h'apworth of tar?
