shibboleth2.xml doesn't get reloaded until next request

Hi,

I am using shibboleth2.xml for configuring various applications, metadata
provider, certificate paths etc.
I am facing an issue that while reload=true is set with reloadInterval
value, still reload of these elements and shibboleth2.xml doesn't happens
even after expiry of reloadInterval, until the next request. Yes, even
though the files were changed in between.

So for the subsequent incoming requests, new changes becomes effective as
the reload happened of changed configuration has happened with current
request. But the for the current incoming request (at which reload is
done), still previous configuration is considered, may be from cache I
believe.

What configuration should be done to re-load shibbleth2.xml at specific
interval ?
