svn checkout error on java-identity-provider repository

Hi devs,

I'm trying to get the IdPv3 source but the SVN checkout fails with the
error below. Is it just me or is there something wrong with the
repository? I have checked out another repository (java-opensaml) and it
went fine.

$ svn co https://svn.shibboleth.net/java-identity-provider
[...]

svn: E130003: The XML response contains invalid XML

My SVN client is (installed from packages on Ubuntu 14.04):
$ svn --version
svn, version 1.8.8 (r1568071)

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network protocol.
  - with Cyrus SASL authentication
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme
* ra_serf : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV protocol using
serf.
  - using serf 1.3.3
  - handles 'http' scheme
  - handles 'https' scheme

I'd love to provide more information but svn lacks a verbose/debug option.
