cpp-msbuild has graduated to Git

The cpp-msbuild repository conversion to Git has completed, see:

Note that under Subversion, this project was part of a multi-project repository called cpp-parent-projects. Under Git, it is a top-level repository of its own.

We will be moving to individual repositories for each of the projects within the current Subversion extensions, utilities and java-parent-projects repositories. There's really no advantage to lumping them together under Git where repositories are comparatively lightweight and representing each project as a branch would be a little perverse.

We do at least in principle have the option of *naming* resulting repositories as, e.g., utilities/java-support to mirror the old scheme. My current plan is *not* to do this, however, as gitweb is limited to presenting repositories from a single directory. Instead, we'll give most projects a top-level repository (e.g., java-support).

I do currently plan to demote defunct projects to subdirectories to keep the top level clean. The current idea is to demote them to an "archive" sub-directory and make all repositories in that state read-only.

Enjoy,
