(For deployers). For somebody writing extensions, the Spring parser stuff is horrible and I hate it.

Originally we were hoping to be able to intermingle native and custom Spring in the same file to help make it possible to do newer stuff without writing the parsers, but that created a lot of weirdness in Spring.
