There likely won't be any more 2.x feature releases. If you want it 
considered for V3, feel free to use Jira. My general attitude is that this 
looks a bit hacky. Basically because everything in Javascript is. I'm not 
sure how I feel about it, but I'd have to see it in action and understand 
the implications.
