on rough history of v3 development

Hi,

I am preparing a slide deck for a client to help them plan for
an IdP v3 upgrade.

I would like to include a generic statement about v3
development effort like "5 FTEs over 3 years" (such a
statement will resonate with this client/community). Is that
roughly correct?

More specifically, are the nice update presentations that
Scott C and others did before v3 was released collected and
available from the shibboleth.net web site? 

If so I apologize for not finding them and would be grateful
for a pointer. If they are not available then it might be
useful if they could be collected and a space made to archive
them semi-permanently.
