Adequate doc update for alpha 3?

That’s something in place and wired in to the IDP3 wiki.  

It will do for anyone who is likely to install Alpha3, but there is quite
some work to do before we could ship a release.  My view is that decent
installation documentation is the only bit of currently non-existing
documentation which is an absolotely P0 requirement on V3 first ship.
