For the record I began this thread on behalf of a client that
is not a Shibboleth Consortium member.

Putting my LIGO hat on, however, I can say that the LIGO
project would find it useful if version 3 supported the back
channel logout as discussed. We would target using it with our
primary IdP and a subset of the 65 or so SPs we directly manage.

We understand the limitations.

We appreciate the work and the dialogue.
