Confluence - latest

Is it just me or has the edit-hyperlink capability become broken in the
latest version of confluence?  I have tried on Chrome/IE/Firefox/Safarie-w32
and in all of them when you click on the EDIT button after clinking on a
link in the editor nothing happens, except that the button goes away whilst
the floating help text "Edit link in dialogue" stays around.

Insert Link does throw up the dialogue.

Have I missed something brain-searingly obvious?
