Include *.dist files in idp-distribution ?

I'd totally agree.  

All of which makes me realize that the time is approaching for me to cut the
windows installer.  The way that the 'Quick' installer worked was that it
took a distribution and mashed it together (with the embedded container).
I'd rather avoid doing this - it is far from seamless and has the unpleasant
side effects that all the configuration files turn up with the line
termination of the build machine (which are never correct).

Other points are:
	- I'd also like the new installer to be able to upgrades properly
(again, including the container).
	- I'd like simple prepackaged configuration for a standard AD layout
(which should just be amendments to the properties file, 
	  but I'd like this as an option.

Anyway, this mail is by way of a call for requirements of how we want to do
the windows installer.

Thoughts?
