I had, yes. FWIW, I agree with your comment there that in the long term we probably need to dump Cobertura and use something else instead, if only because the UseSplitVerifier workround will probably stop working at some point (it's deprecated in Java 8, I believe). JaCoCo seems to be what most people talking about this issue seem to be leaning towards. For now, though, the workround is definitely the minimum effort solution and who knows, by the time we feel the need to move to Java 8 the horse may have learned to sing.
