I meant SP here, and I forgot you're rolling your own code. Simply calling
into the signature validator with the key is not going to do anything with
the certificate but extract the key and apply it. So same answer.

So given that it's an XML signature, the link I sent originally applies.
Did you follow any of those suggestions?
