There's a little more in the "Install from RPM" page but the wiki does imply that there should be binaries for all of those.

The Shibboleth project doesn't build and test these binaries ourselves; we rely on the OpenSUSE Build Service (OBS) to do that for us:

Bottom line is that we can and do provide binary packages for the distributions that the OBS supports, and (other than for Windows) not otherwise.

I may be misreading this, but it does look like the OBS has stopped providing OpenSUSE 11 builds, in which case we won't be able to make them available. Whether we still want to say we support that target and make a distinction between supported and binary-package-provided is another question, and we might talk about that on the developer call today if we have time. We need to update the wiki either way, though.

Given that the OBS no longer provides builds, it's possible that Wikipedia is out of date. Unfortunately the OpenSUSE site itself seems to be nonresponsive today so I can't find out the official position.

The Wikipedia article (in the table under "Version history") does seem to be clear that everything in the 11.x series *is* in fact beyond its official EOL. 11.4 only appears until July 2014 under the "Evergreen" column, which they describe as "community" long term support. I think that probably means less than you're hoping for.

Yes, that should still work. In general, of course, this kind of thing happens less if you're using an Enterprise distribution variant, so that might be another route.
