Neither would I, certainly not for required attributes.
Our colleagues from GakuNin have developed a fork that allows users to
decide whether or not they want to release optional attributes.

It would be interesting to know about the experiences people have made
with this feature. We have always feared that giving users this choice
to release (optional) attributes might result in hard-to-debug
situations, more helpdesk tickets and confused users because an
application could react differently depending on what attributes a user
decided to release. But maybe this fear is in vain.
