Upload v2 third-party dependencies to Nexus ?

Should we be releasing based on an RC?  

I'm guessing it cannot hurt since it is will be differentiated from the real
release and one would hope that the changes would be minor.  Plus of course
we have been shipping the pre V1 not-yet-commons since forever.
