fyi : java-idp-testbed with -Pendorsed fails

An orthogonal question - My dev machine is in some manner screwed up in that
I can only get the tests to pass by saying that I have endorsed Xerces.  I
have hunted in all my JDK and JREs for such endorsing and cannot find it -
and the only examples of the endorsed files are inside V2 work spaces.  I've
also checked the runtime settings in eclipse as well as eclipse.ini and my
environment.

I'm obviously missing something *really* obvious but I cannot see it.

Anyone been bitten by this and have suggestions?
