Not the relevant code, the problem is your parsing and XML processing. If you were unmarshalling the signed object with our code, it would identify the ID attributes in the DOM and the lookup would work, unless the signature is invalid to start with. So I have to assume you're not using the XMLObject unmarshalling layer. If you are, then I have no particular suggestion to give you.
