Maven SNAPSHOT issue

Well, the server on which I do my dev staging at OSU had 3.0.1 since I
don't use it much, but I was building snapshots for local deployment there.

My Mac has 3.0.3, which I think came from Apple via xcode. Pretty sure
3.0.3 is also broken, but in this case I was testing on the 3.0.1 box.
Moving to 3.0.5 changed the maven build and it immediately started using
the proper parent pom artifact.
