migrating xml schema definitions from v2 to v3 ?

Well, per Rod, a lot of people do like to get editors and such using the
schemas, so that's a point in favor of getting them on disk out of the
jars. Perhaps that's something the installation process can do for us.

I don't think the aggregator would need schemas specific to the IdP, but
probably one of the schemas there is the old original metadata extension
schema for Scope and KeyAuthority, and that one would be of interest to it.
