I think we still need it. For v2, we need Java 7 to be covered, because 6
is EOL in a few days.

Going forward we'll have Java 8 to deal with, and so on.

And I still, for good reasons I think, don't trust the OpenJDK JVMs to be
100% the same as the Oracle ones.

So hack or not (and it does seem to be unstable), we need it.
