git experiment

Based on a couple of recent conversations, I am willing to try using
git to publish my local eclipse workspace, to coordinate better with
other developers.

I like the performance improvements over svn.

I am thinking about pushing nightly, as well as task/jira specific branches.

I started a git-svn clone repository of java-identity-provider on
shibboleth.net, and added .gitkeep to the empty directories, so it is
importable into eclipse, minus .settings.

The idea is to provide public read access over http and write via ssh.

So, work out ideas and general hackery via git, then dcommit or
whatever to svn once things settle.
