Still right on that edge I mentioned before, but looking closer I can see that the way the aggregate builder thingies work is that they have subversion externals pointing to the head of the active branches of each module.  So you can only use the "-main" projects if what you want is to build the current development sources.  For anything else, you need to go to the individual component repositories in one of the ways I described.

Eager to be corrected by someone who knows what they are talking about, but that's how it looks to me.
