It seems like calling it Resource wouldn't cause a lot of conflicts
because of how it's intended to be used, but if not, I guess it's ok.

I'm pretty sure that's why JDBC URLs are the way they are. There's not
much you can do. The flaw is in having complex sources of data reflected
in a simple configuration syntax, it's just not possible. Classic case of
people oversimplifying and needing to be slapped.
