That's correct, yes. Even if the issue weren't with Boost itself, the
failing code is the part that's using it.

RHEL 6 is certainly well back of gcc 4.6.3. I don't know that I have
anything on a version that new. I could see what Solaris would pull in
from the opencsw packages but I don't have a free moment to do that just
this second.
