idpv3 distribution : configuring jetty via spring ?

Any general concerns or comments regarding possibly configuring Jetty
using the Spring beans syntax ?

The potential benefit to using the Spring beans syntax rather than the
native Jetty configuration DSL would be commonality of configuration
throughout IdPv3.

The distribution design is still quite up in the air.
