Well, it doesn't seem to be there.  Have you tried to serialize out the
signed XML to see what it looks like?  If it's there in the XML and the
DOM, the unmarshalling code at the very least should create the object
for it, and according to the signature profile validator, it's not
there.  That's all I can say about it until you provide more info.
