Extending ResolverStoredIDDataConnector

Hi,

I have a similar requirement, where I have to collect the data from a JSON
returned from a url call. I've found that no data connector supports such
feature. So, I'm planning to go for a customized data connector solely for
this purpose. But, I've no clue where to start with as I'm beginner with
Shibboleth. Can you guide me over this and tell me if there is any other
possible way to achieve this. Thanks.
