I have some parties interested in testing some features that happen to be mostly feature complete, so I've done a refresh of the packages available in my home project in the RPM build service.

These are of course unsupported and shouldn't be used on production systems.
I've been documenting post-2.4 material in the wiki and highlighted some of what's done here:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/SHIB2/NativeSPInterestingFeatures
The most notable feature is a new error handling capability for detecting sessions with missing attributes and handling problems with that outside the application. This will obviate the things some people do today with Confluence to detect missing data, and I'm told Drupal has similar problems.
The example-shibboleth2.xml file in the install has been updated to include new settings related to this feature, and of course I can answer questions here if anybody's interested in trying it out. It's feature complete, but testing might provide suggestions for improvement.
I will most likely refresh these packages every now and then as more features get done. Producing Windows builds is way too time consuming, but the RPMs are easy enough to be worth doing periodically as the release approaches.
