We are planning to link two IdPs together. As discussed earlier on this list, the linking can be done using an application that has double-authentication (local IdP and remote IdP), so that it can then update the local user-store with the remote identity information. However, the unlinking would ideally need to happen through the SAML name-id management protocol.
