Yes, though not because of the name as much as just making it an include
rather than exclude setting.
BTW, there are basically two options for contributions:
- sign the old Internet2 contributor's agreement
- release the code or patch under Apache 2.0
The former is a copyright grant, the latter just acceptables term for
inclusion, and the copyright holder would eventually show up in a CREDITS
file.
All the current code is headered copyright UCAID, but that's not
technically accurate, it's a mix of copyright holders all of whom have
provided the code either with a full right of sublicensing by I2 or under
Apache 2.0 terms. The project, like most, has a history of confusing
copyright with licensing.
