The Shibboleth logo won't be in any default pages going forward. I removed
it from the SP and I'll be doing the same to the IdP. If you want to have
a placeholder in the design of course, that's up to you, but I think it
falls more generally under the heading of how you would accommodate all
the information about the IdP organization in the page that people tend to
include.

Speaking for myself, I'm not a fan of it other than in local scenarios
where the logos are controlled. But I don't know how the world at large
feels, and this list really wouldn't tell you. That would be a refeds
question more than anything else.

I would also say that the less the better. I don't know how easy it's
going to be to reproduce any of this taglib stuff in Velocity, and for me,
the value of not using JSP (being that it is limited to the warfile)
outweighs any other consideration going forward. I don't see us
maintaining JSP support in 3.0 out of the box, though of course anybody
would be free to produce login forms that used it.
