It would indeed be fantastic if we could point deployers to some apt
and yum repository and they could just (apt-get|yum) install and
update happily ever after.
Other topics might then pop up more frequently (cf. the
replace/noreplace config file story for the SP's rpm package, and the
IdP has quite a few more config files) but that's a very small price
to pay.
I take that to mean that you'll have to provide those repositories on
the shib infrastructure (given that there's no way the IdP RPM will
build on opensuse's ;)
