In real use the subject will not be in a position to add &lang=fr after "loading session information" but before loading the actual login page? And AFAIU once you're on the actual login page (and elements from metadata have been extracted in a given languauge) switching the language on the login page (using some HTML provided by an amended template) will not change the language of the data extracted from XML, i.e. there's nothing that would go back to the metadata and now fetch the mdui:Description for xml:lang="fr", is there?</p> </td>
