The remote JWK cache is wired with those resolvers only, and the Nimbus objects’s local copy of JWK is filled with the contents of the remote JWKSUri when the JSON-contents are loaded from file (or via storage service). And whenever client information is fetched from the resolver, if the cache has expired. This means that the code that needs RP’s JWK sets can always fetch it like it was local, i.e. via getJWKSet() -method of the Nimbus ClientInformation object.<br> <br> The SAML metadata node processor doesn’t fill the local JWKSet property of the Nimbus object. Either it should start filling it by fetching it via cache, or we should change the current logic. The latter sounds a better option.<br> <br> The beans that actually handles the JWKs should also take care of fetching the remote sets. The metadata resolvers (JSON or SAML) could then just simply set the URI to the remote set during the metadata resolution.</p> </td>
