Per my original comment, I just don't want to see this become another LDAP config situation with people relying on implementation class wiring without some kind of abstraction going on, even if it's just parent beans.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">With a suitable parent, it's at least possible to provide change migration help with factory beans (the parent becomes a factory that adapts the properties on the old classes to the new thing).</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">So that's a possible compromise to just promoting them if that's not viable.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I'm not that concerned about breaking changes in <b>this</b> upgrade given the paucity of use of these classes.</p> </td>
