I am now at the stage of being able to build a Windows mis file and use it to install an IDP (including jetty) start it and see a success from <tt>status</tt>.bat</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">This involved:</p>
<ul>
<li>Working around the long standing issue with procrun and Java location</li>
<li>Fixing a hand full of bugs.</li>
<li>Adding a new ant task to call into the new installer</li>
<li>Changing build.xml to call that</li>
<li>Minor tweaks to the IdP WiX script.</li>
<li>Leaving the old ant stuff in place for all the jetty installation. I'll review later if I want to do that</li>
</ul> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">The "using Ant" to invoke the new installer is actually quite sucessfull. I'm not sure whether We'll use that long term, rather I'll replace ant.bat/sh with something else and have that call directly into a program to do that, but I'll probably leave the <tt>build.xml</tt> in place.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Next up is</p>
<ul>
<li>Strip out the old ant integration.</li>
<li>Think some more about logging. We collect logback.xml from the classpath and that is currently hardwired to be a DEBUG level output to the console. It may suffice initially to turn that up to info and let people know that they can change the level by inserting their own logfile file </li>
<li>Review logging.</li>
<li>More testing</li>
