It's not necessary for this to exist on the classpath since the APIs have been included in the base Java API for many years. In addition, its presence can cause problems with modular versions of Java (>=9, and in particular compilation in Eclipse 2019-03 and in the future in Java 13, see <a href="https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/browse/OSJ-274" title="split package references in OpenSAML detected by Eclipse 2019-03" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="OSJ-274" style="color: #3b73af; text-decoration: none">OSJ-274</a>).</p> <p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:10px;; margin: 10px 0 0 0">We should exclude this artifact from the shipped IdP. For v3, the simplest way to do this is probably to exclude it from the transient dependencies by including this in the dependency management of <tt>opensaml-parent</tt>:</p>
