I can't really speak to what you feel the documentation says or doesn't say, only that it says what I mean it to. The mailing list would be the place for that conversation.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">cacheAllowance is a lower level setting that controls how soon expired sessions are removed from storage. It doesn't have anything to do with timeouts. The overall record expirations are managed based on the lifetime value, and timeouts are imposed by applying a secondary check against the last-time-used of the session. Using zero does what it says, it bypasses that check.</p> </td>
