Setting it on has other side effects but causes the exceptions.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">This is likely a good thing, and shouldn't impact anybody since if their templates throw now, that's certainly noticeable. The non-strict default seems ok to me, but one test needs to change.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">Exposing some of these settings seems important but the work can probably be parked based on the outcome of Brent's study, so I'll file a separate issue on it.</p> </td>
