New configurations should set this to false and trigger behavior to either fail or ignore old settings, while legacy configurations will leave it on.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">There are some tricky cases here if a deprecated option has important semantics since silently ignoring it could create problems, but at some point if the setting gets removed altogether the problem has to be dealt with, so it's a judgement call what to do in each plugin, but this at least provides the capability.</p> <p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">There may some settings worth deprecating that haven't been to this point since this now extends more flexibility down into all the libraries and into plugins without schema-validated configurations.</p> </td>
