<li>Curl now has CMAKE support (so they are probably back to having 3 ways to build for windows). I want to look at that, but I suspect that it will fail the litus tests because of the non standard names they use for debug build (no trailing D), I'll take a look though and maybe prod the dev list with a PR or a question to get that fixed if easy. I suspect that this will meet with their usual "but there are so many people using the broken version" and "but its safe to mix and match run time libraries between curl (and indeed all DLLs, say the people who have no C++ and zero deployment experience of broken apps"</li>
<li>This begins to feel like <a href="https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=cantor.2%40osu.edu" class="user-hover" rel="cantor.2@osu.edu" style="color: #3b73af; text-decoration: none">Scott Cantor</a> is thinking of an iteractive build (so change XMLSec, rebuild and test Shib). My design center had been batch build (as part of the release process). But I can absolutely see the value of an interactive mode if you have the misfortune of also supporting the down stream dependencies.</li>
<li>(I'm also begining to see the appeal of rewriting shibd in java and rewriting DDF to speak JSON...)</li>
