<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I did notice the bugfix for the duo null pointer exception, and we just got from 3.3.0 to 3.3.1 so thats a great help!</p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">It seems like the password flow is displaying the warning before leaving the password subflow and going on to the duo subflow, and somehow transitioning from the warning velocity template to the next state it's losing the username. </p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I haven't edited the system/flows/authn/password-authn-flow.xml, which is I believe where it peels off any warnings generated by the ldaptive authenticationResponseHandler. When talking to eDirectory, the standard ldaptive authenticationResponseHandler seems to always return the expiring password warning because eDirectory always has a 'password will expire on xyz' attribute. So switching to the "org.ldaptive.auth.ext.EDirectoryAuthenticationResponseHandler" allowed us to set a threashold for that warning. </p>
<p style="margin: 10px 0 0 0">I'd be interested in testing to see if any ldap authentication warning also has the same behavior when trying to do Duo 2nd factor after the password subflow, but I'm unsure how to go about testing that. I'll try to capture more with debug logs. I'll report back here in a few.</p>
